Price Information

As the amount of work required on each photo will vary greatly, so will the length of time needed for restoration. I can only really assess this once I have the photo in front of me and once we have established what final effect you would like to achieve.

Broadly speaking, restoration work can be split into three categories and the following list is intended only to give an indication of cost. Return postage, using Jersey Post's Special Delivery Service, will be added onto the final invoice. (Jersey Post rates can be checked here).

Group A

Includes small amounts of work such as the repair of minor marks and scratches, cropping photos and adjusting brightness / contrast. Includes one free 6" x 4" photo. £12.50 + p&p. Extra prints as listed below.

Group B

Includes work in 'A' above + basic repair work to damaged edges and corners, small creases, blemishes and lines, and colour manipulation - for example converting colour photos to black and white. Includes one free 6" x 4" print. £18.50 + p&p. Extra prints as listed below.

Group C

As in group B + the repair of more significant damage. This group also includes the application of photo effects and camera trickery such as removing objects and replacing backgrounds. (Some examples can be seen in my 'Gallery'). Includes one free 6" x 4" print. From £26.00 + p&p. Extra prints as listed below.

Extra prints in all categories:

6" x 4" (15cm x 10cm) £2.00 each, 7" x 5" (17.5cm x 12.5 cm) £5.00 each, 10" x 8" (25cm x 20 cm) £8.00 each.

I can also supply a CD-ROM or DVD of your restored photos for £2.50.

**I can also print images from positive slides**.

If you'd simply like your photos left untouched but scanned onto computer disc for safe keeping, again, please contact me for an estimate of cost.

Your original photos plus restored copies will be returned to you upon payment of your invoice and clearance of funds.
